Visit Point Betsie Lighthouse
The Point Betsie Lighthouse is Benzie County's most famous landmark. Only 15 minutes from the Honor Motel, watching the sunsets from Point Betsie is a long-standing tradition. There are several lighthouses near by, enjoy a lighthouse-lovers' daytrip. Click Here





Enjoy Our Betsie Valley Trail
Spend some quiet time with Mother Nature. Get plenty of exercise while you walk, hike or bike along this 27-mile trail, which stretches from Frankfort to Crystal Mountain. Canoe or Fish the Platte River
The Platte River is one of Michigans finest. It offers the angler a variety of opportunities from small, resident trout to the much sought after migratory steelhead and salmon that make their way in each year from Lake Michigan. Take a tour of the Platte River Fish Hatchery. The Platte River runs through Honor and ends in Lake Michigan. The public has good access and is a popular canoeing destination. DRIVE-IN THEATER
If you're looking for a good evening and a great night, with family fun for everyone, the Cherry Bowl Drive In is the place for you. So c'mon in early, pick your spot, order your dinner, play some mini golf, and home run derby, then sit back in that bucket seat and take that Giant Step Back into the Fabulous 50's. The Cherry Bowl Drive-In Theater is located right here in Honor, Mi. Open 7 days during summer for 2018 SEASON.



Our Honor Coho Salmon Festival
The Benzie County National Coho Fishing Festival is held in the Village of Honor at the end of August. Many events take place during this festival including a Horseshoe Tournament, Lawn Tractor Race and the Platte River Canoe Races. This festival includes many family activities for all ages.
